The Australian Taxation system has placed an increased emphasis on the need for improved financial management and reporting.
CAMEO Executives understand the tax obligations and concessions applicable to non-profit organisations and the criteria for income tax exemptions. They are aware of the types of records your organisation is required to keep and the information necessary to maintain your organisation’s non-profit income tax status.
CAMEO uses MYOB Accounting Plus as its in-house and client accounting software. For security, all finance data is loaded on a computer with a dual hard drive redundancy system and off-site back-up facilities.
CAMEO establishes separate charts of accounts for each individual client to record all financial transactions and produce financial reports as required. Reports include, but are not limited to, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Actuals versus Budget, Aged Receivables.
Monthly accounts are batched and presented for approval and payment following verification of the goods or services provided.
End of Financial Year reporting includes the colation of all records, journals and support material to ensure an efficient and accurate external audit.
This process is conducted according to Auditing Standard AUS 202 and Auditing Guidance Statement AGS 1048 Governing the Audit of a Financial Report including the Audit of Small Entities and the Assurance of Auditor Independence.
